A team of 15 students from different colleges of the University of Garmian successfully completed the Global Solutions Sustainability Challenge.
The team, led by Sakar Hussein Mikaeli, continued the program for nine weeks in collaboration with a team from SUNY Rockland Community College in the United States, which consisted of 10 students and was led by Professor Patricia Szobonya.
Global Solutions is implemented by IREX and is supported by the J. Christopher Stevens Virtual Exchange Initiative (JCSVEI). JCSVEI is a U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs program administered by the Aspen Institute.
