The Directorate of Quality Assurance and Program Development, in coordination with the Directorate of Pedagogy and the Academic Training Centre at the University of Garmian, organized a scientific meeting titled “Market‑Oriented Education Program”.
The event was chaired by Professor Dr. Arass F. Zainal, President of the University of Garmian, and attended by a large number of staff and students.
The meeting focused on aligning and adapting academic curricula to meet current market demands and enhance students’ practical skills.
In his opening remarks, Professor Dr. Zainal emphasized the university’s commitment to producing graduates who are both academically proficient and workplace‑ready.
Panelists included Assistant Professor Dr. Asaad M. Mahmoud, lecturer at the University of Garmian; Mr. Saman Aziz, HR trainer; and Mr. Karwan M. Hassan, Director of Wano Private School.
The session was moderated by Mr. Mohammed Hassan, who guided discussions on best practices for integrating market needs into program design and teaching methodology.
